The Burrell Collection is home to the private collection of millionaire shipping owner Sir William Burrell. Here you’ll find 8,000 exhibits of valuable art of all types from across the world. The building is beautifully set in picturesque Pollock Country Park. As with most of these museums there is no entry charge. In the People’s Palace you’ll discover everything about the city, the Glaswegians, and their influence on the rest of the world from the 12th century to the present day – it is both fascinating and informative.
