Getting around

Excellent transport links make Manchester the gateway to the North of England. Exploring the region is simple with a network of trams, buses and trains. From the airport you can use The Station – the only UK airport interchange with bus, coach and rail services under one roof. 

Manchester’s Metrolink connects Bury, Altrincham, The Quays and Eccles to the city centre. Within the city, hop onto a Metroshuttle completely free of charge. These easily recognisable mini-buses connect the city’s rail and tram stations, main car parks and shopping areas.
